Ebb & Flow Ensemble

Ebb & Flow Arts is a not-for-profit corporation founded in 1999. It is directed by Maui composer and pianist, Robert Pollock.

Goals

  • GOAL #1 - To enrich the community by presenting international festivals of excellent quality contemporary music concerts and cutting edge multi media events.
  • GOAL #2 - To educate the children and the general public with school workshops and public performances.
  • GOAL #3 - To break down the barriers between the arts and bridge artistic expressions and cultures.

Now in its second decade of activity

E&FA serves a recognized and documented need in Hawaii’s community. Ebb & Flow Arts has presented sixty seven (67) concert/multi-media events in Maui, Oahu and the Big Island, including performances of two hundred forty four (244) works by one hundred fourteen (114) composers, thirty four (34) world premieres, sixty seven (67) Hawai’i premieres, five (5) presentations by the Maui Arts & Cultural Center, seven (7) international festivals, fourteen (14) Hawai'i Public Radio broadcasts, twenty six (26) public informances and two hundred ninety eight (298) school workshops.
