Tony Walholm is Immediate Past President of E&FA. He is a painter and began painting at age 12. He studied at St. Michael’s College (Vermont), and the University of Oregon where he received a Masters degree. His influences include Dali, Motherwell and Rothko. Considered one of Hawaii’s most significant artists today, Tony’s paintings can be found in many private and corporate collections around the world. He was represented by Paia Contemporary Gallery on Maui, and currently at Napua Gallery, and Lumeria. His work recently received recognition by Art Maui, and the Hui No’eau Visual Arts Center. Tony’s librettos have spurred on E&FA to several original multi media stage compositions based on Hawaiian legend and folklore.
