THREE MULTIMEDIA EXPERIMENTS – August 29, 2021

Objective: To show common ground in motion between painting, music, and dance.

Process: The musicians select one (from four*) abstract painting to which they improvise. The dancer moves to this music without knowing which painting was selected. After the improvisation is over, the dancer selects the painting to which she felt she was dancing.

Results: You will see the selected paintings and the improvisations. In all three experiments, the dancer selected the paintings accurately.
